1-1 Coaching program
Online or in person
Through my own lived experience, years of clinical training, and extensive work with clients, I have developed this program to support people in building a more stable, sustainable relationship with food and their body.
This is currently the only dietitian-led program in Cyprus that addresses all aspects of disordered eating and eating disorders — including the psychological, emotional, behavioral, and nutritional components.
The program was originally designed for individuals diagnosed with eating disorders (Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder), but it is also appropriate if your relationship with food feels distressing, chaotic, or controlling — even without a formal diagnosis.
This program is for you if:
-
You suspect you might have an Eating Disorder
-
Your relationship with food is significantly impacting your life.
-
You struggle with emotional eating
-
You struggle with food restriction, binge episodes or obsessive food thoughts.
-
You feel trapped in the cycle of dieting
-
Fear of weight gain is controlling your life
-
You experience guilt, stress, fear or anxiety around eating.
-
You don’t remember when was the last time you were not on a diet.
-
You go through periods of restriction/dieting and periods of overeating or feeling out of control.
-
You feel out of control around food.
-
Your self-esteem, relationships, and social life are affected by your relationship with food and your body.
-
You have strict rules around your eating that are interfering with how you want to live your life.
-
The number on the scale or how you feel about your body affects your mood and confidence.
-
You want to make peace with food and your body.
How the Program Works:
-
Duration: 4 months (16 sessions)
-
Sessions: Weekly 45–60 minute 1:1 sessions (online or in person)
-
Initial Session: A comprehensive assessment of your eating patterns, history, fears, and goals
-
Between-Session Support: Ongoing guidance when challenges arise
-
Resources: A 100+ page workbook to support learning, reflection, and skill-building
I intentionally work with a very small number of clients at a time. This allows me to offer responsive, individualized support during difficult moments, meal-related challenges, or periods of increased vulnerability.
As someone who has been there, I know that disordered eating doesn’t take breaks and support shouldn’t either.
What We Work On During the Program:
-
Building motivation and gently working with fears that keep you stuck
-
Understanding the root causes of your eating patterns and behaviors
-
Nutrition education and creating a way of eating that supports both physical and mental health
-
Supporting the body through nutritional rehabilitation
-
Reducing and eliminating harmful behaviors
-
Identifying and challenging disordered or unhelpful thought patterns
-
Shifting rigid beliefs about food, weight, control, and self-worth
-
Developing emotional regulation skills around anxiety, shame, guilt, and stress
-
Building coping tools that don’t rely on food control or restriction
-
Improving body image and fostering body respect
-
Increasing eating flexibility and reducing rigid food rules
-
Reintroducing enjoyable foods and social eating
-
Reconnecting with your values, identity, and life beyond food

Important Note:
This program is a nutrition and recovery coaching service provided by a registered dietitian. It does not replace medical care, psychiatric support, or psychotherapy.
If you are currently medically unstable, require acute treatment, or are experiencing severe mental health symptoms, I strongly encourage working alongside a physician, psychiatrist, or therapist. When appropriate, I am happy to collaborate with your wider care team to ensure safe and effective support.
Recovery works best when the right supports are in place.
"Ami mou, I’m so grateful for your help and support in the past few months. Without you, I wouldn’t be able to change my restrictive mindset around food. I really found you at the right time, and without any exaggeration you changed my life completely. Eating Disorders are extremely difficult and dangerous both mentally and physically, and you’re the only person that managed to get me out of that restrictive cycle, where I was unhappy, 24/7 thinking about food and having numerous health issues. Thanks for everything, you saved me❤️ " -N
"Thank you for teaching me that I can eat without counting every single calorie and rules telling me what I am allowed to eat or that what I am doing is wrong. Thank you for teaching me how to go on holidays without worrying about eating in front of others or what I will eat. Thank you for giving me a life of freedom after 20 years of feeling trapped"- C
“Thank you Anna-Maria for helping me understand that fitting into a certain size or looking a certain way is not so important and that I can be healthy and happy even if I don't eat perfectly or look a certain way. It has given me so much of my life back and taken away so much guilt and shame. Thank you for being understanding and non judgemental”- E
